Vildev Holdings specializes in Retail Projects in Township areas in South Africa and Namibia. The Company works in close partnership with local communities and with prominent role players in Retail and Commercial Property development in Africa.

Vildev is driven by social consciousness for the upliftment and empowering of rural communities, including opportunities for equity participation in projects.

It is also involved in the procurement of labour in the developments as well as in community affairs in several ways.

Cas de Villiers started his career in 1966 as journalist. In 1972 he became the Director of The Foreign Affairs Association in South Africa.

In 1978 he was one of the pioneers in propagating development in rural towns in South Africa. After a stay of six years in the US, he returned to South Africa in 2003.

He started the Vildev Group and has ever since been involved in retail centres in township areas. He holds a postgraduate qualification from the University of Northwest (Potchefstroom).


Elizabeth de Villiers


Elizabeth de Villiers has broad experience in administrative and information management at a senior level in higher education.
After completing her postgraduate studies at the University of Pretoria in 1976, she started off her career at Unisa as a lecturer in Mathematics. In 1995, she made a career change to administrative management and completed the Senior Management Programme at the University of Pretoria in 2003. She headed the Executive Secretariat at the University of Pretoria from 2004 until her retirement in 2013.
In 2011, she established her own company, Mivida Enterprises, focussing on administrative practice and information management, with a specific emphasis on higher education and retail developments.


Jacques Reyneke

General Manager

After 8 years of management in the restaurant industry Jacques started his career in property with the Cosmopolitan Group of which he became a major shareholder and Managing Director of Cosmopolitan Property Developments in 2000. With this group he completed more than 3 000 homes and developed numerous townships.

He was a founder member of Reyneke & Reyneke Project Managers that completed various projects all over South Africa and Mozambique.

He joined the Vildev Group as General Manager in 2009 as well as Mutterfirma RR7 with the main focus on retail developments.
